Terms of use
By using this website, purchasing any products or tickets from our online store, and/or visiting the ArtSpace5-7 gallery operated by Cambridge ArtSpace CIO, you approve that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
This website is owned and operated by Cambridge ArtSpace CIO, via the Wix.com platform. References to ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘ours’ throughout these Terms and Conditions are to Cambridge ArtSpace CIO, a charity registered in England and Wales since 30 November 2023. Our registered charity number is 1205974. Further details regarding the charity’s operations can be found via the Charity Commission’s Register of Charities, which is free to access online.
1. Events
We host two different types of events: RSVP and ticketed. Bookings are valid solely for the event and number of guests specified in the booking confirmation – for RSVP events – or in the order confirmation and on the tickets themselves, for ticketed events. All confirmations and tickets are issued via email. In order to receive their confirmations and/or tickets, guests provide their email addresses via the registration form – for RSVP events – or the checkout form, for ticketed events.
Subject to these terms, all bookings are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. We do not accept tickets that have been exchanged, transferred, or modified in any way.
While we only issue tickets digitally, we accept both digital and printed versions of tickets at the door, provided they are valid for the event and number of guests specified.
We accept online ticket payments by debit or credit card. Your card will be charged at the point your order is accepted. We are unable to accept payments at the door, whether by card or cash: you must purchase your tickets online in advance of the event, and present them at the door, in order to attend.
It is your responsibility to check that your tickets are valid for the event you wish to attend, and the number of guests who will be attending, before you are asked to present them at the door. It is also your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of any additional information you have supplied to us in advance of the event concerning your order and/or attendance: for example, your email address, for receipt of your order confirmation and tickets.
If you have any allergies, medical conditions or additional requirements (for example, dietary restrictions) that might affect your participation, please inform us in advance: either via the online registration form, or, if no opportunity is provided when booking your tickets, by emailing us at info@artspace5-7.org as soon as possible prior to the event.
Photography or video recording during our events is prohibited without the prior consent of Cambridge ArtSpace CIO. We reserve the right to take photographs or video recordings during events for use in our own promotional material. As per UK GDPR, we will not store or use photographs or video recordings in which an individual is identified or identifiable, directly or indirectly, without the prior consent of the individual(s). If you do not want to be included in any photographs or video recordings, please notify us at info@artspace5-7.org in advance of the event.
We will not store or use photographs or video recordings in which a minor is identified or identifiable, directly or indirectly, without the prior consent of their parent(s) or guardian(s). If you do not want your children to be included in any photographs or video recordings, please notify us at info@artspace5-7.org in advance of the event.
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to attend our events.
2. Event cancellations and alterations
We reserve the right to cancel or alter our advertised arrangements for events without notice, at our discretion. The following terms apply for event cancellations and alterations made by us:
-
We will notify you as soon as possible using the contact details you supplied to us in your booking. You will be offered a full refund of the price of your tickets for that event. Please check your email inbox before travelling to an event to avoid an unnecessary journey and/or travel expenses.
-
Our liability to you under these circumstances is limited to refunding the price of your tickets for that event. We are not liable for any other loss you may incur relating to the event’s cancellation: for example, travel expenses.
The following terms apply for booking cancellations and alterations made by you:
-
If you or any of your guests are unable to attend an event for which you have made a booking, please notify us at info@artspace5-7.org as soon as possible. We are a small venue and may need to make changes to the event in advance in order to accommodate a different number of guests.
-
We are unable to offer refunds for tickets, or for any related loss you may incur, in the event of booking cancellations and alterations made by you.
-
If you are unexpectedly delayed while travelling to an event for which you have made a booking, please notify us at info@artspace5-7.org as soon as possible. We will endeavour to accommodate late arrivals, but this cannot be guaranteed. We are unable to offer full or partial refunds for event tickets if you are late.
