Isabelle Davies
Stained Glass

ISABELLE DAVIES is a stained glass artist and conservator based at her independent studio, Iota Glass, in the heart of Cambridge. She is captivated by stained glass’s rich history, capacity for story-telling, and the dynamic interplay of light. Her contemporary pieces are profoundly informed by the medium's heritage; her practice balances exceptional technical skill – achieved through years of rigorous training – with conceptual sophistication, artistic curiosity and political nuance.

In 2025, Isabelle was selected for the first ever Young Artists at the Fitzwilliam Museum in collaboration with Cambridge Open Studios.
Isabelle earned an MA in Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management from the University of York, and is now a Pathway member of ICON. Her dedication to the art and its conservation has been recognised with awards, including from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust and the Worshipful Company of Glaziers.
She has previously worked at the Cathedral Studios in Canterbury, and Reyntiens Glass Studio in London. She is currently Project Conservator of the national collection at the Stained Glass Museum in Ely.
